This weekend, my running partners and I decided to try out a "marathon relay" in Kansas City. We thought it would be fun, and we would use it as part of our training run, for our upcoming Disney Marathon. WOW!! ......was it interesting! Just the logistics alone to try and figure out what exchange point to be it and at what time, and then to try and get back to the finish line, was enough to make your head spin.We made it....and with an average pace of 8:08/minute miles we finished in 3 hours and 33 minutes. We were pretty pumped...this also means a 1st place finish in the woman's relay division, so we were pretty excited!Overall, I am glad to be done, but another marathon relay, will probably NOT be in my future :-)...run on friends!!!!!
