Waddell and Reed Marathon Relay Oct. 2010

I said last year I would never do this relay again....WHY! Because logistically it was stressful.....but after I said that we received our "PRIZE" money in the mail, which was official marathon merchandise, such as jackets, running skirts, running bags, and BBQ coupons-we were all pretty excited (and yes...that was the first time we had won anything). After that the deal was sealed we signed up for the Twin Cities marathon, and then the K.C. marathon relay. Our time to beat was 3:33, and guess what this year we beat it, by 2 minutes, and came in at a 3:31. This was good for a 1st place finish in the Corporate female division and and 2nd place finish for females overall. We thought this was not too bad, only being 13 days out from our last marathon and having one team member run 2 legs-thanks Aimee). The team to beat came in at 3:27 (yep....we will try and get ya next year -ha). The good news is.......we are $250 bucks richer with prize money-so FUN!
