Brew to Shoe...what can I say....this race is brutal! It is always HOT and humid! This year was an exception, though...yeah..it was still hot and humid, but 2 out of my 3 kids ran the FUN RUN! Karli actually "trained" for this, and did awesome (2nd place female :)) and Kade ran for fun. I am just super excited to possibly have some future cross country stars!!!I on the other hand, had an awful run! I felt bad, and the temperatures did affect me. But, I am always so grateful to run and I was filled with gratitude today. I placed 3rd in my age group with a 1:49 and received a nice shiny medal :)!
